Our Family

Hello and welcome to MadeofSun.net! In case you’re wondering, the name of the site really captures our love for all things warm and bright. Give us sun and water with maybe some seagulls flying up in a blue sky, and here they’ll be smiles all around. We love the beach. We love the ocean. In a deeper sense, we love the energy and excitement intrinsic to hope and optimism. We feel blessed as a family.

Not long ago, we moved from Salt Lake City, where we lived for over 5 years. Utah is a beautiful place and one of the best kept secrets out west. At present, we live just outside Lincoln, Nebraska, among the green, rolling hills of the Midwest. Ultimately, we hope to one day move near the ocean, but we really can’t complain now.

Kuei and Sheldon are pretty creative people. Kuei likes arts and crafts and can usually be found with her digital camera most of the time (as you’ll see from this site). She also enjoys yoga and cooking. Sheldon is in graduate school (practically living on campus) studying Architecture. He’d like to be at a baseball game or swimming.

Brighton is a miracle. A funny, curious little boy that has a ton of talents and interests. A real super-hero. He teaches us all the time too, with his big heart.

 

Keane (pronounced Keen) is our newest addition to the family. We are really excited about how this exuberant baby will bless our lives even more.
